2. Description of the service
ScraB&Ble offers fair and ecological guest rooms. The rooms can be booked separately or together. The overnight stay includes breakfast unless otherwise agreed.
3. Terms of Use and Accessibility.
- Location: The guest rooms are located on the second floor and are only accessible by stairs.
- Codes of Conduct: The accommodation is located in an official “Area of Silence. Guests should respect the peace and natural environment.
- Ecological management: The house is almost a passive house (EPC-7) that uses solar energy and a home automation system. Guests are expected to use energy, water and food responsibly.
4. Booking and Payment Methods.
- Direct booking: bookings through their own website are the most economical option.
- Means of payment: We accept credit cards through the booking platforms (Beds24 or Booking.com).
- Flanders Vacation Check: When using vacation checks, the guest first pays online; the check is redeemed during the stay and settled via refund (up to a maximum of the amount paid online).
- Edenred Ecocheques: We accept Edenred’s digital Ecocheques through the website (Mastercard method). The full amount must be payable at once with the card.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
- For direct booking: the booking can be cancelled up to 7 days in advance without charge.
- When booking through other platforms: consult the cancellation policy on their site
6. Risk Allocation and Liability.
- General responsibility The stay at ScraB&Ble – Faire & ecological guest rooms and the use of its facilities is at the guest ‘s sole risk. The owner cannot be held liable for personal injury, loss or damage to the guest’s property unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of ScraB&Ble.
- Accessibility and Safety (Stairs) The lodgings are located on the second floor and are accessible only by stairs. The guest declares at the time of booking that they are aware of this physical limitation of the building. ScraB&Ble assumes no liability for accidents or falls that occur on the stairs or while entering/leaving the rooms.
- Use of Ecological Garden and Swimming Pond The rooms offer views of and access to an ecological garden with a swimming pond.
- Use of the swimming pond is permitted only for guests by arrangement with the operators and is done at your own risk.
- No supervision is provided; guests are responsible for their own safety and that of minors in their company at all times.
- ScraB&Ble is not responsible for injuries caused by the natural elements in the garden or the surrounding natural environment (forest, Scheldedijk).
- External Services (Hospitality+) As part of the Hospitality+ program, ScraB&Ble can connect the guest with local healthcare providers (such as physiotherapists or nurses).
- In doing so, ScraB&Ble acts only as an intermediary for facilitating contact.
- Actual medical or paramedical care is beyond the responsibility of ScraB&Ble.
- We accept no liability for errors, shortcomings or accidents caused by these outside caregivers.
- Disclaimers: ScraB&Ble cannot be held responsible for temporary interruptions of external services or minor anomalies in the natural environment (such as noises in the silence area).

All content on the scrabble-it.com website, including text and photos, is protected by copyright and owned by ScraB&Ble.
8. Changes to the terms
ScraB&Ble reserves the right to change these terms and conditions to stay current with applicable regulations.
