Smart Travel in and to Klein-Brabant
Whether you prefer to bike, carpool, take the Flexbus, or use a car-sharing service—sustainable travel starts with a clear overview. On the interactive mobility map, you can see Hoppin locations, bus stops, train stations, bike-sharing stations, car-sharing locations, and bike racks at a glance. And anything that doesn’t fit on the map can be found below: handy apps, taxis, and more.

Which app will you choose?
We conducted a (non-exhaustive) analysis of existing mobility apps, focusing on multimodal transportation. Among others, we looked at Slim Naar Antwerpen, Floya, Hoppin, Google Maps, OSMAnd, NMBS, De Lijn, and De Waterbus. Our three main findings:
Smart Trip to Antwerp
Our top pick. A very comprehensive app that immediately suggests alternatives—for public transportation, biking, walking, driving, or a combination. It’s also widely usable outside of Antwerp, including in Klein-Brabant.
- ✓Multimodal
- ✓Includessharing systems (bicycle, scooter, moped, car)
- ✓Displayof cost and calories burned
- ✓Linksto ticket sales
- ✓Also worksin the browser
- ✗Flexbusis not included
- ✗NotAndroid Auto-ready
Google Maps
A handy navigation system for cars, public transportation, bicycles, or walking. Shared mobility is covered in several major cities.
- ✓Variousmodes of transportation
- ✓Workswith popular car systems
- ✓Up-to-dateinformation on traffic and public transportation
- ✗Notmultimodal
- ✗Noprice information
- ✗Flexbusnot included
- ✗Subsystemsthat are only partially linked
Hoppin
Not an app, but a website that reflects the philosophy behind our mobility. It provides a good overview of mobility options as well as the official apps in Flanders.
- ✓Goodoverall overview
- ✓Refersto De Lijn and NMBS
- ✓Carpooling, parking, and charging apps as well
- ✗No route planner of its own
Please note: Floya has roughly the same features as Slim Naar Antwerpen, but focuses on Brussels. Hoppin is not an app but a website that provides a good overview of our transportation options as well as the official apps in Flanders (De Lijn, NMBS) and others, such as carpooling, parking, and charging apps.
